TECHNICAL
Sicaro™ products are manufactured from sustainable timber sourced from New Zealand, Asia and Europe. The timber is enhanced using advanced proprietary water-based formulations. This process impregnates the timber completely, ensuring consistent treatment throughout the material. This results in a high-performance product specifically engineered for outdoor applications, offering exceptional resilience and longevity in a variety of environmental conditions.
Fortification Benefits
- The timber is fully impregnated, ensuring consistent treatment throughout the material.
- Once cured, the timber gains increased weight, strength, hardness, color stability, and durability.
- No biocides are used in the process, making it environmentally friendly.
- Designed specifically for outdoor applications, offering high performance and exceptional resilience.
- Engineered to withstand various environmental conditions, ensuring long-lasting durability.
Sicaro™ color
Sicaro™ comes in three different colors, Ticari a warm golden teak, Livada a rich golden rosewood and Azarac a dark strong ebony. The color and performance of the timber is locked in to the core.

Color maturation
Sicaro™’s timber fortification process locks in performance and color. Without a protective coating, it matures to a grey patina over time. The images show Sicaro™ Ticari at installation, two years later, and then washed after three years without treatment. While cleaning reveals the original color, the tone naturally changes due to environmental exposure, varying by region and application based on the timber’s exposure to the elements.

Maintenance
Once Sicaro™ products silver they can be washed or lightly sanded to reveal color that can be enhanced and protected using a good quality oil. It is recommended that only penetrating products are used especially on decking to prevent a surface film that may reduce the products grip resistance when wet.
Where oil has been applied during installation then re-coating will be required every 6 – 12 months, or as recommended by supplier’s instructions. Please refer to our maintenance instructions.
